Panel – Decorative Board
Decorative panels are used to finish the visible sides of cabinetry runs, like end panels on a kitchen island, side returns on a wall unit, or any face that needs to look intentional rather than like the back of a carcass. Cut to your exact dimensions and available across the full Polytec, Laminex and Formica range, these panels are made in the same Perth workshop as all our doors and drawer fronts, so the finish is consistent when you order everything together. The 16mm thickness suits most wall-hung and overhead applications and keeps the panel from adding unnecessary bulk to narrower spaces. Common applications for 18mm panels include island end panels, tall pantry side returns, full-height fridge surrounds and laundry cabinetry where the panel takes some wear.
